BREAKFAST POT the best only down side they stop serving breakfast at 3pm so don't go there at 3:07 because they "shut down" the breakfast part which I don't no what that means apparently they shut down the grill so I don't no how they make dinner I'm assuming the microwave

Wow recommended by many. And I'm a new comer to this area, palm springs , I have discovered this gem. I love a good country meal and this is a superb one. We came for lunch. Good portions and good specials. The shepherds pie is wow awesome . The flavor right on the money. Abd the gravy on the mash potatoes . Hummmmm I almost ran of with the pot. To make matters better not worse, I had the corn beef sandwich on pumpernickel. Although in used to large corn beef sandwiches at Jasons, man this was the most tastiest that I've ever had. The bread with butter and the corn beef quality , top notch, best I have had since Katz deli in Ny. Finished with a cinnamon roll the size of lunch. Please pinch me with a fork ahhh country bliss.

I've been to the one in Boca and it was always delicious. Wasn't sure if this location would live up to the same expectation. I went a Saturday around 11ish and was seated within a few minutes. Our waitress was with us within a few minutes and took our drink order and soon there after took our order. I ordered the 3 meat breakfast in a pot. It was amazingly good!!! It's 2 biscuits with gravy on the bottom most later, scrambled egg mixed in with sausage, bacon and ham bits then topped off with melted cheese. It was a really big portion and could have easily fed 2 people. Service was pretty alright I would definitely come here again! Food is so good! My mom had French toast and it was phenomenal as well!

We drove by and thought we check it out. I was hoping it would be like Cracker Barrel or better. I was very disappointed when I looked at the menu. It was nothing like a "country" restaurant should have. No pot pie, fried okra, fried green tomatoes, etc. But they do have meatloaf and fried chicken. I would've order fish and chips since there's nothing else I cared for even though it was overpriced: $12 for one piece and $18 for 2 pieces. And I noticed the side order of fries were $4.99. That's a bit high for just fried. We decided to walk out because we were waiting too long before the waitress would come take our order. It's just doesn't have real"country" food enough for me to come back.

The breakfast us awesome. Friendly staff, makes you feel welcome. We have had lunch it's good also. The family came for dinner, my husband got the shrimp dinner it had large shrimp. I had the fried chicken. Man was it good. Come and try the place u won't be disappointed.

Visiting family here and needed to find a breakfast place that would handle 7 adults and 2 children and take reservations on a Sunday morning , this place worked perfect for all of us, service was good for large party, they have a good variety for breakfast ,food was good and lots of baked goods on site, they have a full bar also, not sure if dinner is as good as breakfast but will go back for breakfast next time we visit the area.

We've been here before but not for a while. For some reason the soda and the ice tea are not great. The bisquits were really good and gravy was ok but the combination was better than most places. I had the French Toast croissant, eggs and bacon all fine just not spectacular. Service is terrific and the restaurant is clean and we'll decorated. Would have given 3.5 stars but the app doesn't allow.

Not much I can say here except I like the ambiance, the Company, The Service, and the food. It remeinds me of Famos Amos, in that it is simple food done correctly and this can be a hard thing to find in this age of Bistro's, Gourmet Places etc. Simple good Food. Give it a shot!

Since I live here all year round in Lake Worth, This place is AWESOME!! Atmosphere is rustic & country style with fireplace & relaxed environment. FOOD EXCELLENT! Service good & we love to go for breakfast. My fave is BREAKFAST-IN-A-POT which is big enough for 2. This is their 2nd store (1st store is in Boca but this one is BIGGER!) Their baked goods are excellent too! Baked stuff is somewhat pricey but worth the try. Love this place! Definitely my new favorite place to go for breakfast & lunch! Gotta bring your snowbirds here! Prices are fair & a lot of orders can be shared.

I didn't know what to expect when going into Tom Sawyers. I hadn't had much luck with breakfast places in the area, but I was pleasantly surprised. The wait staff was super friendly, and they never let my coffee get more than half-empty. The owners are from France, so I had to try the Croissant French Toast. (They also had options of English Muffin French Toast and Cinnamon Bun French Toast.) it was quite good. I was even surprised at how good the sausage and bacon was! The restaurant was clean and had a great log cabin vibe. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast, and I'm looking forward to trying lunch and dinner!

The food at this place is average at best and that's putting it nicely. I ordered their "Signature Breakfast" which was 2 eggs with chopped sirloin. Apparently I had no idea that chopped sirloin is a fancy way of saying "tasteless ground beef" or "hamburger with no buns." The whole thing tasted like disappointment. My boyfriend ordered a 3 meat skillet but what they don't tell you is that it actually comes with 90% home fries, 5% salt, and 5% of mystery meat. It wasn't very good, in fact, I think his tasted worse than mine. But wait there's more! The waitresses are from a time before multitasking was invented. This place could use some young talent. tl;dr.... Bad food, slow service.

Food was ok. It took FOREVER to come. The server apologized and explained that there was a party of 22 before us. Place was nothing special and had atmosphere of a Cracker Barrel. I don't know if I would come back.

Growing up my family and I used to go to Perkins for breakfast every Sunday and we were sad when all locations around us closed down. This place is a good replacement. Their pancakes are delicious, biscuits and gravy, country fried steak, all tasty. They know how to cook my eggs perfectly too! The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the corned beef hash. The only way I can describe it is by comparing the taste to the smell of canned wet dog food. Not good at all. Haven't tried lunch or dinner there and not sure we plan to as the place is so solid for breakfast and I can't imagine getting anything else here.

I was really hoping that they served breakfast all day when we came here for dinner the other night. Unfortunately, they don't and I'll have to try the croissant french toast some other time. I had the farmer burger, which was topped with fried onions, cheese, secret sauce, and bacon and a side of fries. It was alright. Maybe I was wanting the french toast or maybe thinking about the pastries they had on display when you walk in. Either way, it was a nice dinner and I wouldn't mind going back. The staff was very welcoming and our waitress was very attentive. Southern hospitality at its finest!

This has become our new "go to" for weekend breakfast! There usually is a short wait, but it's worth it. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and accommodating (and we've had many of them). Food is well cooked, and I really like their coffee which is rare in a chain restaurant. Portion sizes are large. Someone else mentioned the fish & chips - when I had it the pieces were HUGE and quite fresh, I couldn't finish two and I was pretty hungry. Recommended! Oh yeah - they sometimes have coupons, and I think they have a Loyalty card, ask for it. Gotta try item? The French toast croissant, I'm going to have to get my Wife to a clinic ... LOL.

Someone mentioned this place to me. I was not familiar with the chain. It is located in a building that over the last 15 years has been a pizzeria, the Italian food place and steakhouse. After the steakhouse failed nothing seemed to make it at that location for more than a couple of months. This place has been totally renovated to a country diner atmosphere. It is very large and has a full bar and a meeting room. I was there for lunch and it was approximately 80% full. I was about to leave in anger as I was not getting any attention from any staff. When a waitress approached it was none other than a favorite waitress of mine from another restaurant. Had it not been for this acquaintance I would have complained bitterly. Service was slow, however there was no mix-up on my breakfast order. I had corned beef hash and soft scrambled eggs. The waitress remembered that I like Tabasco and make sure it was available. I will highly recommend this restaurant and it will go for breakfast or late evening meal. Ask for the best waitress in the house, Beverly.

We were a party of 6 for breakfast on sunday morning.first time in the restaurant and we liked it. We wait only 5 minutes and we got a table fast. The waitress though showed up on 15 minutes to take the drinks and on half hour for the main course(the place was not bussy at the time). Thats longgggg time for breakfast. On breakfast you need your coffee and food fast, no after an hour!!! The price are a bit high for the quality but fair for the size( portions are huge!!) We got 3 meats pot and French Toast with strawberries! Both really tasty and big enough to share. The only negative was the slow service and the heat in the restaurant. You will go back to give another chance soon

Slow to get seated, even slower to get food, wait staff nice and friendly but bang for buck, not so great. I blame management. Poorly run restaurant. Food is ok, but not spectacular. I will say the decor is charming and relaxing. Unique for Florida. Have tried it two times in a row before writing this review.

Tried this place again, 1st time was when they just opened , and service was bad. This time they were crowded and quality of food seemed good, but everything was undercooked, not just for us, but other tables around us. If they can't handle the crowd limit the tables, if the kitchen can't keep up, warn the people it might be a couple of extra minutes. Soggy waffles, limp bacon, flashed toasted toast, asked for well done hash browns, they came out like they were never cooked...disappointed again

I saw this place in my hometown that looked like my kind of place. The decor is casual and easy going. I have eaten there three times and it is unlikely that I will return. It is not expensive, but not bargain basement. I have eaten breakfast there and have tried a few different menu items. Notably, something in my order was burned or overdone each time I was there. Do NOT order anything with sausage gravy. It tastes like flour with chunks of bland sausage link in it. The griddle is too hot which causes things to be overdone on the bottom and edges. The toaster is set too hot which causes toast and English muffins to be served burned. The remark when I sent a dish back was, "oh, is it too overdone?" Burnt is definitely too overdone. The staff is polite enough, but they are clearly not listening to their customers. On my most recent visit the people occupying tables on both sides of us had complaints about something served to them. The kitchen staff needs serious lessons.
